Day of Reflection

Today was definitely bittersweet. I finally accomplished half of the cleaning that I had intended to do. Now the only tasks left are: vacuuming, laundry, and polishing.

I now have a sore mouth from my dental visit, and I am quite annoyed that I do not have more dental coverage from York.

The sad news of the day: My mother's friend called this morning to inform us that her daughter succumbed to cancer yesterday. It is quite sad considering the lady was only in her mid-30's. Unfortunately my mother will not be able to go to the funeral which will be held in Keswick on Saturday.

Tonight's dinner: tossed green salad with vinagrette, ginger-apricot chicken, and mixed vegetables.
