So much to do, so little time...

Well, as usual, I've left my blog to sit for a few days with no new additions. I suppose I'm facing the January blahs right about now. Isn't reading week supposed to come soon?

Anyhow, updates on my past week, and the coming week's agenda.

Wednesday
Went to a fabulous class in which we discussed The Great Code. Seems as though that most of the class was still dazed and confused about the relevance of the Bible to Western Literature. After class I attended a useless meeting with my club, where nothing was really accomplished, although there is plenty of upcoming events.

Thursday
Another useless day in my Shakespeare course. Apparently it is not important to note what actually shows up on the page, but what, should, could and would have happened. *sigh* how hopeless! Went to my next class, where we treated like grade school kids, cookies and a story book! :D

Friday
The most important day of this week, my hunny's 23rd birthday. I am amazed that phone calls from home were limited to ONE, and that was not from my mother. (On a side note, she seems to be really enjoying her new pursuits in life.) So, we went down to the Fallsview Casino, blew a bit of money and then went for dinner at Wolfgang Puck's new place. Absolutely fabulous food, and impeccable service. Dinner was expensive, but well worth the treat for my hunny. (I will post pictures here shortly). Afterwards, we went back into the casino, where playing nickel slots, my hunny won $134 on his first $20 spent! Later we went to Casino Niagara, wandered around in there for a bit and went into an arcade on Clifton Hill. We left to come home, with my hunny thoroughly enjoying his birthday.

Saturday
Sat through a 1 hour and 15 minute sermon, on, for the life of me, I can't remember. Afterwards we picked up a movie for my mother, and went to the LCBO. As we walked out of the LCBO, someone brushed past me, and lo and behold, it was my stalker. He did not say anything to me, just stared at me and my hunny as we got into the car and drove away. (Still feeling a bit creeped out!) We went to a seminar about our alleged *free* honeymoon, which we had to pay airfare for. We also had to sit through a session on pots and dishes for 1.5 hours. When we were all done there, we headed over to a friend's place where there was a get-together. We stayed there for a few hours, and then drove some people out to Scarborough.

Sunday
Sat around today trying to be productive, and attempting to accomplish some work. Today's perogatives were, write an essay and presentation, and do my post for my class. Of the three, I started on only the last two. However, it seems as though I may have plenty of time to work on the rest, since I am out of a job. Apparently work has seen no need to schedule me for the last two weeks, and no one will tell me why. So tomorrow evening I'm going in to resolve this matter, or pretty much quit the job. I have to start looking a little more seriously now for another job.

This coming week:
Another meeting with my club on Tuesday, Grad Photos and essay to be done on Wednesday, Thursday is the presentation. Busy, busy me! Reading Week, come hither!
