To the New Year

Although today is already the third of January, I would like to note that the world situation in this new is a rather sober one. People fortunate enough to live in North and South America, as well as Europe have been spared physically from the devastation. However, that does not mean that we are all not affected. Many people here, even some people I know have family and friends in that area of the world. I would hope that the disaster has not affected anyone close to me, and for those that it has, my prayers are with you all.
