Lethargy

As usual, I am behind on this blog, but I suppose there is not much to report now. Our debate last Wednesday went quite well, and our guest judge seemed to be quite impressed. Now that I am finished the banner for my uncle's church, it is drying and ready to be displayed for Sunday. Just a little while ago, I started on one of my final essays that is due next week. After this one, there is only one more left and two exams to write. Today I have been home all day, and time has been moving too fast for me. Right now I am going through The Four Quartets and posting on it for my online class blog. I suppose that is all the news for now...

Back to posting

After being reminded today about how long it has been since I posted, I decided to put something up here. These last few weeks have been stressful, but the worst is yet to come. As certain people noticed today, I was quite removed from reality. I think it is a lack of sleep, or perhaps just burn-out.
I worked Saturday night, Sunday afternoon and yesterday afternoon at my new job. All seems to be going well so far, the customers are friendly and my boss has not screamed at me yet. My plate is quite full for the next few weeks, as I am juggling several assignments.

1. Essay proposal for Drama class (due this Thursday)
2. McLuhan/Frye Debate (next Wednesday)
3. Essay for Drama
4. Essay on Frye
5. The dreaded word: EXAMS (only two this year though)

So here goes, all the work is coming up fast....
Oh, and just realizing that as of today I have been engaged to my hunny for 9 months

Stomach This

Been down today with a tummy bug, and feeling rather blah as a result. Hopefully it will go away on its own.

Dinner Plans

Since today was my first day home for the week, I decided to hit the pots and pans. Tonight's dinner was Parisien Chicken (basically chicken breasts in a wine and mushroom sauce) and fetuccine alfredo. I found the food delicious, and it seems that the rest of my family thought so too.

Now that I am on my third job in under 6 months, I am hoping that this one will last longer for me. I worked Wednesday night ($100 in tips) and subsequently slept in late on Thursday (oops!). Apparently though class was as thrilling as ever, and there was not too much I missed.
